I joined the team at Oxford Sales Firm in January of 2025 after concluding my career as a professional and collegiate athlete. When exploring employment opportunities, some key factors I prioritized were opportunities for growth and a strong workplace culture within the office. Knowing that Oxford aligned with both of these values made the decision to accept the role rather straightforward.
Throughout my time here, I have had the opportunity to both foster the skills that drew me to the position as well as hone in skills that I would have never thought to work on unless challenged to do so. Having a background in athletics, I was confident that qualities such as competitive drive and communication skills would carry me through my time here. However, I did not anticipate being pushed to become the best possible version of myself in areas where I was less experienced. Now, after just a few short months, I have already begun to demonstrate my consistency in sales while also growing my own sales team – something I initially thought would take significantly longer.
I would describe our office space as energetic and competitive, while also being highly supportive. At Oxford Sales Firm, we believe that competition drives excellence, but we also understand that highly competitive environments require members of the team to be supportive of one another. Coming in, I initially had no sales experience; leadership brought me under their wing and taught me the correct skills and mentality for sales. Now that I’ve been in the business for a while, my favorite part of it is seeing that same type of development in others.
